Our Project

Mary Rose Media Production OPC is about to set up the first-ever Pinoy Entrepreneurship Fund contest in November 2023.

The contest aims to help winners change their life – from a simple person living from hand-to-mouth existence to a self-made entrepreneur who will have managed to succeed in life in a unique, fulfilling way.

The Pinoy Entrepreneurship Fund contest will be a business reality television series that will allow contestants to present business proposals to be determined later if doable or not. The contest will show contestants-entrepreneurs making business presentations that must convince the audience and the judges alike.

There will be panelists who are knowledgeable business persons who have the ability to shoot down contestants with undoable, non-salient business proposals. The panelists will then approve if the contestant’s proposal is realistic and worth investing in, determine the validity of the proposals, and reject if they feel the contestant doesn’t have what it takes in the proposal.

Contestants will share their business proposals, in which will be the determinants if they will proceed to the next tougher rounds. Those who will join must impress the MRMP judges, and convince that their proposals are not thrash and worth the time and effort of the judges.
As such, the contestants must be ready if their proposals are denied, and won’t feel bad once eliminated.

It will make the contest thrilling and nail-biting, especially if the proposals are being evaluated and contestants are given the walking papers out. Contestants must brace themselves for tough evaluators, especially if they have no patience even for tales of hardships.

Moreover, they can show emotions if they advance to the next round or cry if rejected and get eliminated. At this early those who don’t take life seriously must recalibrate carefully if they will join the contest.

This new business reality contest will be unique as MRMP will welcome those even with very simple but realistic proposals. Those who have the most out-of-the-box, unorthodox business concepts are most welcome. Judges will then determine if they are doable or just wishful thinking.

MRMP will start accepting entries in August for the Pinoy Entrepreneurship Fund, although the contest is set to start in November for its initial episode and will run depending on the volume of contestants who can join. Participants must submit a 2-minute video containing their business plans and proposals.
When the contest begins in November 2023, it is expected to last for four to five months. An initial 200 contestants will be allowed to join, while this initial batch of contestants will then be reduced to 50 based on the judges’ decision.
As the participants’ number reduces, the tougher and more exciting the contest becomes. Participants with clear-cut plans and doable business programs will make it to the top 20 or 10.
